"Seeds of Resistance" Zine

Created in collaboration by Qader Voice, Celebrate845, and Cosmic Doghouse Press​
​Palestinian voices throughout history have been silenced and censored.

We here have combined our creative skills to document the local Palestinian liberation  movement and to uplift a fundraiser for people we know on the ground providing vital mutual aid in Gaza.

Through this zine (pronounced "zeen", like "magazine"), we also intend to share creative work being made by marginalized, working class creatives in the "Hudson Valley" region.


We aim to honor accessibility by circulating this zine both remotely through a digital version (below) and on the ground through a print version. Within our lifetime, Palestine will be free.

​The fundraiser: meet Esraa & Tawfiq ♥

We are deeply honored to have personal local connections to Esraa and Tawfiq, both on whom are leading vital mutual aid efforts and impacting loves daily. Follow their journey on their Instagram page, Olive Gaza Bytes (click here to view).



Esraa is an incredible woman who, despite facing unimaginable challenges, has become a beacon of hope for many in the northern part of Gaza. An accountant by profession, she was forced to flee her home due to the ongoing genocide, leading to a journey marked by numerous temporary homes and stays. She has coordinated the construction of numerous tents and relocation of many families in need. She purchased mud ovens to accommodate the forcibly displaced people from Rafah. She built a bathroom and a water collection system to help reduce disease in Der al-Balah (where many are contracting Hepatitis A disease).



Tawfiq has been displaced many times since October 2023 and has lost many family members. Despite this, he continues to ride his bike around, distributing money to families in need and coordinating securement and delivery of supplies to families in the area.

The zine: Seeds of Resistance
Thank you to all of the artists who contributed work- all of whom self identified as marginalized, low income, no income, and/or working class creatives living or working in New York's "Hudson Valley." Our voices, songs, actions, and archives give us hope and endurance.

We are also so lucky to receive some art from folks who are not living here but are part of our community and have direct ties to Gaza and the fundraiser. We are humbled to be in community with you all.
