Virtual Co-Working
Join Celebrate845 on the First Friday of every month for some sweet sweet virtual coworking. Being together stays important, as does the need for more accessible spaces. Getting stuff done together can be really empowering these days, so consider tapping in if you need support or want to help. Come chill and chip away together.
First Fridays of every month from 11:00AM - 1:00PM on Zoom. Drop-in link here.
Folks are welcome to attend & work on their own stuff, or can help us do Celebrate-type tasks, maybe including but totally not limited to:
• Editing/adding to our regional Resource Guide
• Writing image descriptions for social media posts (learn more here)
• Checking in on existing or contacting more potential Free PPE Hubs + Cleaner Air Partnership locations
• Translating our materials into non-English languages
• Sharing our resources across other online platforms
• Graphic design work
• Whatever else feels important
Access info:
• No registration required. Zoom link will drop the day-of at Celebrate845.com/Links (in our Instagram bio too)
• If you need help accessing somewhere with free WiFi, we can recommend places.
• You do not have to be or live in New York's "Hudson Valley" to attend.
• Video on not required. Audio not required either. Utilize the chat as called. Auto captions available as well as transcriptions in multiple languages. We do ask all attendees to engage at least once.
• There may be soft music (low-fi beats style) & folks are welcomed to chat or ask questions, but the space will be mostly quiet so folks can work peacefully.
• As security measures, we'll have an admin letting folks in from the waiting room & who will ensure all attendees are present in good faith. Hate & bad faith energy will not be tolerated. Admins have the right to kick folks out as needed. Consider getting familiar with our values before attending.
• Zoom offers great automatic caption and translation services that transcribe across languages. We hold space for non-English speakers and invite attendees to utilize captions so we can all communicate.
• Anything missing? Let us know.
