ZINES
zine (/zēn/, "zeeeen", like the ending of the word "magazine"): a small-circulation, self-published work of original or appropriated texts and images. Historically reproduced via photocopier and containing elements of collage. An economical way to share information.
All of our zines are free to download, view, and enjoy. We do accept donations and proceeds from each zine support printing, shipping, and other pieces of our work along with various causes and organizations throughout the 845. If you are interested, able, or called, you can donate via: Venmo, CashApp, or PayPal.

Seeds of Resistance
October 2024 Palestinian voices throughout history have been silenced and censored. We here have combined our creative skills to document the local Palestinian liberation movement and to uplift a fundraiser for people we know on the ground providing vital mutual aid in Gaza. We aim to honor accessibility by circulating this zine both remotely through a digital version and on the ground through a print version to unify different artists and narratives together. Both coming soon. Created in collaboration by Qader Voice, Celebrate845, and Cosmic Doghouse Press |
Hudson Valley Mask Week: The Archive, Volume 1
September 2024 We archived our inaugural "Hudson Valley Mask Week" effort into a zine, available to view digitally or print and distribute for free (3 pages, simple half sheet fold). HV Mask Week was a week-long action where we asked everyone in the 845 to commit to masking up for 1 week and folks across the region masked up, putting the phrase "we keep us safe(r)" into practice. We are honored to archive the ongoing pandemic and capture such thoughtful, caring, and beautiful glimpses of solidarity that knows no borders or bounds. Mask up! To learn more about the campaign, visit our landing page here. To reignite HV Mask Week, reach out any time! |
